Certificate Course in Workshop Practice – Hands-on Practical Training

The Workshop Practice Course, offered by the Department of Instrumentation and Automation Technology, Faculty of Technology, University of Colombo, is designed to provide participants with essential hands-on experience in industrial workshop operations.

This 4-month weekend course offers 60 hours of practical training in Lathe Operations, Milling, Drilling, Welding, and Metrology Tools. Delivered through a hybrid mode (online and onsite) in English and Sinhala, the course is ideal for technical professionals, students, and individuals seeking to enhance their practical engineering skills.
